Website maintenance is a necessity — for software updates, security checks, backups and other ongoing tasks — but many web design firms don’t offer an option for continuing care. After your website has launched, you might not speak to them again until you’re contacting them in a panic. It could be when your site is suddenly down, something isn’t working or there’s a security issue. Now you’re paying their hourly rate, while visitors to your site are having second thoughts about your credibility.

We will email you a link to a form where your responses will be encrypted and private. We  will never share the details with anyone not associated with Buzzquake Marketing.

While we strongly prefer to handle your support requests through our Support Request form, which provides a written record of your request and allows you to upload screenshots, you may call us at 443-312-9146. Please note that we will not respond to text messages! We have made customer service a priority here at Buzzquake Marketing and you’ll find our support fast, effective and friendly!

We are a small company and do all our work during business hours. Your website is most likely to encounter difficulties when software is being updated, a task we perform.

Our support hours are 9 AM – 5 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Any support requests submitted during off-hours are immediately attended to during our regular support hours.

If you have an after-hours emergency that cannot wait, please contact your hosting company to help you. Make sure you have your account information readily available.

We accept credit cards and ACH. You will be billed monthly or annually, depending on which payment period you choose at purchase.

You may cancel at any time. We offer a full refund if you cancel within the first 3 days of purchasing one of our plans. If you have a monthly plan and decide to cancel after 3 days, we will discontinue your plan as of the start of your next billing cycle. We do not prorate monthly subscriptions. If you have an annual plan and decide to cancel after 3 days, we will provide you with a prorated refund for the remaining full months of your subscription.

We include access to our developer licenses for helpful software, like Gravity Forms. You are responsible for paying to renew all other plugin and theme licenses for your site.

There are three ways to contact us for support.

  1. If you are already logged in to your website, click on the “Support” Widget installed on your WordPress Dashboard. You will find it towards the bottom left of the screen; it appears as a gear icon followed by the word “Support.”
  2. Visit our Support Request page directly.
  3. Call us at 443-312-9146.

We strongly prefer to handle all our support through options one or two which provide a written record of your request and through which you can send screenshots of the issue for which you are seeking support.

We work with all hosting providers although some are better than others. Ideally we would like you to use SiteGround Managed WordPress Hosting to ensure that your website is fast, secure and easy for us to work with. SiteGround has excellent customer service and resources.

Buzzquake monitors customer sites using our security checks. If we become aware of a security issue on your site, we will alert you as soon as possible and work with you to determine the best path forward for your website.

If an update we perform causes a website to break, we will reinstall the most recent backup of the site in order to reduce downtime. Then we will work with you to determine the best solution for your website.

We will advise you if a plugin on your website is no longer supported or compatible with the latest version of WordPress and advise a course of action to remedy this since older plugins can be a major security risk.

Each care plan covers one single site, domain, subdomain or WordPress installation. If you have multiple sites as subdomains of a site (e.g. subdomain1.buzzquake.com and subdomain2.buzzquake.com) they still count as separate sites. If you have 3 websites that you’d like us to manage, you’ll need 3 plans, one for each site. You are more than welcome to choose different plans for each website depending on the needs of each individual site.
